Love // Baker Park Wedding Inspiration

I won’t say I’m biased (because really, just look at those two) but would you guess that this adorable little wedding took place just down the road?

I’m so proud.

Jennifer and Alex met right here in Frederick (ahem, at one of my favorite restaurants) and even though they had already eloped, they wanted to hold an intimate celebration with family and friends in the place where Alex had proposed… Baker Park. (You can — and should — read the whole sweet story here.)

When the day came, the super cute couple incorporated so many great Frederick details, I’m dying. From the pedicabs to the McCutcheon’s cider they served at their reception, the party just reeks of this little town that I love, and I can’t get enough…

I mean come on — there’s even a high wheel in there…

I was lucky enough to meet Jennifer and Alex’ awesome photographer, Mary Kate McKenna, at a Two Bright Lights event in Baltimore last week. And when we got to talking, I was extra excited to learn that even though I’ve seen a ton of her work around the DC region, she actually lives out here in Frederick… and had just the perfect Frederick wedding to share!

Even though the wedding industry really does rock out here, it’s so rare that I have the chance to share some really great inspiration from the area. So thank you a million times for sharing Mary Kate!

If any of you live near, I think I know who you should call… just sayin’.
