The date // a quick stop for fro-yo
The food // strawberry and classic tart with gummy bears and boba for her, vanilla, strawberry and blueberry with boba and cookie dough for him
The place // the park

Well hey Monday, that was quick. Hope everyone had an amazing weekend! I’m sorry if you’re a big Broncos fan. I just watch for the commercials.

… but I am a pacific north westerner, so… sorry.

This weekend was nonstop…

52 dates // a thousand threads
On Saturday we spent the day with the family in DC, eating way too much and dreaming about cars we could never afford. Sunday morning we woke up and ran off to yoga for me and the gym for the guy, then it was all about Super Bowl prep, homemade pizza, beer, and chips and dip. But before we sat down to catch the commercials, we fit in a quick trip for frozen yogurt — which might seem a little weird in February, but in addition to being nonstop, this weekend was also unseasonably warm. (Right Joe Namath?)

So since we haven’t really been outside in what seems like ages, it felt like the perfect time to grab some fro-yo and sit down for a little bit of a break from the craziness in the park.

The fresh air was just what we both needed to get through the rest of the busy day.

It was so lovely this weekend, and now it’s back to be buried in snow – sigh! I would still eat fro yo under a pile of blankets on the couch 🙂

Our weekend here in NYC was surprisingly warmer so I got out for some fresh air as well! Today, however, is the start of a snow storm so that’s a whole different story. Anyway, I love fro-yo dates!! I can eat it year round, even in the winter! I love topping mine with mochi, blueberries, and granola!
