Counting down

// a thousand threads
This whole, Alt-is-going-to-be-here-before-we-know-it-like-in-just-over-a-week, thing is beginning to set in, and I’m equal parts excited and terrified. So this weekend I’ll be working furiously to make sure I have everything in order before the week is done.

I’ll be putting the finishing touches on my talk about “getting your editorial calendar under control,” tying up loose ends around the house and at work/for the business, and combing through my closet for the perfect combination of clothes that can be carried in just one small(ish) bag.

Oh, and I’ll also be counting down the very last few sad, beautiful days of my 20s. Did I fail to mention that before?

Hmm…

Of course I’ll also be carving out at least a little bit of time to enjoy this gorgeous weather. (Changing the subject is always appreciated when it comes to the imminent approach of my old ladydom.)

Happy Friday! Do you have any plans?

Eye this Portugal workshop by Local Milk & Little Upside Down Cake.

Buy all of this outfit… maybe buy it for me.

Make this rosé hibiscus spritzer.

Bake these doughnuts for doughnut day (which should be every day).

An oldie but such a goodie, whether you’re going to Alt or to any other big event.

For the mom who makes.

Darn those lady hurricanes and their “blustery” ways.

And in honor of the information noted above, these are pretty much all already true.
