Happy Halloween!

// a thousand threads
And happy birthday to my love.

I’m looking forward to a weekend of celebrations, plus a little bit of time for us both to sit back and relax.

Any big plans on the agenda for all of you?

Eye this lovely little cafe (Since we’ve been dreaming of someday having our own…)

Buy some boots, it’s almost that time… and I’m so obsessed with these.

Make something delicious from mushrooms you’ve foraged yourself.

Bake (fry?) some delicious dumplings – comfort food for the cold. (Great-looking recipe here.)

Inspired by this lovely styling and these tasty caramels.

    Thank you so much for the link!! I am in love with your blog (sorry for the mass follows/likes just now!) and so inspired by you. Your aesthetic, what you do (both on the blog and non-blog work — amazing), and your blogging philosophy. So excited to keep following you, Laicie.

    John is in Tulsa to celebrate his baby brother’s birthday (also a Halloweener!), so I’ve got the whole weekend to myself–can’t wait to try my hand at dumplings!

    Oh gosh, it was raining here at Philly today, which was horrible because I also had a swim meet today. I really need to get myself a pair of rain boots, snow boots, and normal boots! The only close-toed shoes I brought with me to college were my five-year-old workout sneakers, Converse, and fake Uggs haha -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

      Oh no!! I was the same when I first moved to the east coast, it’s taken me years to build up my collection, and still I never feel fully prepared.
