Okay so we’ve taken to calling it our Charlie Brown Christmas wreath.
It’s simple, but it’s charming… and I joke, since Mark always prefers a nice scrappy little Charlie Brown tree to a big healthy one anyway. So this guy is perfect.

It sounds like the weather is pretty frightful just about everywhere this week… and if you’re stuck inside like me, I’m gonna take a wild guess and say that you’re probably looking for something that looks a little bit like this. Creamy, comforting, filled with bourbon…
Bonus? This was my first time with homemade eggnog, and it was so much easier than expected.
On Saturday we packed up the car and drove to the Christmas tree farm to hunt for a tree — hands down my favorite Christmas activity, since as a kid we always hit a lot.
(Clearly. Can you feel the excitement up there?)
And even though we were just a tiny bit early for the snow (now the ground is covered!) I think we might’ve just found our best tree yet…
Okay really you guys… I don’t even want to tell you about this one. Do you know how much my home office could use a $500 gift card to Poppin? What?! Amazing.
